9:00 AM - 10:00 AM AAA: Endoleaks, Fenestrated Grafts, Percutaneous (Simulation Training Available)
IR involvement in the management of patients with AAA range from the initial imaging workup to the actual performance of the endograft procedure. This workshop will highlight the areas that IR can be most helpful in an endograft program.
Moderator(s): Gabriel Bartal, MD / Thomas A. Sos, MD / Marc Sapoval, MD, PhD / John H. Rundback, MD, FSIR, FAHA / Kevin Herman, MD
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Renal Artery PTA/Stent, Denervation (Simulation Training Available)
Advances in renal intervention including recently published and ongoing studies will be presented. Indications for and description of a new technique, renal denervation, will be discussed.
Moderator(s): Elchanan Bruckheimer, MBBS / Eli Atar, MD / Barry T. Katzen, MD
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Cardiology Tools For IR
Interventional cardiologists have developed techniques and devices that are applicable in many ways to our practices. We have assembled a group of experts to describe devices and techniques that have been adopted from cardiology that are being used in IR.
Moderator(s): Salvatore J.A. Sclafani, MD / David Sperling, MD, FSIR / Michael D. Dake, MD / Lindsay Machan, MD
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM CCSVI
Patients with Multiple Sclerosis are asking for treatment. What have we learned over the past year? Are we helping? Are there studies to demonstrate the value of intervention? Should all patients be treated as part of a study? These questions and more will be discussed during this session.
Moderator(s): Joshua L. Weintraub, MD, FSIR / Jacob Cynamon, MD / Yosef Golowa, MD
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Closure And New Puncture Devices
New closure devices have come to market over the past year. Techniques and complications related to these devices will be described. Closure devices and a new puncture device that eliminates the need for a closure device will be available for tableside deployment.
Moderator(s): Barry Stein, MD, FSIR, FACR / Robert A. Lookstein, MD, FSIR, FAHA / James Caridi, MD / Yosef Golowa, MD
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Vascular Imaging And CO2
Pre-procedure Vascular Imaging with CTA and MRA using post processing software has become routine in most labs. Advances in intra-procedural imaging using CO2 and Flouro-CT are becoming routine. These techniques, and how they help IR procedures will be discussed.

Moderator(s): Jacob Cynamon, MD / Madeline Rosado, MS, NP / Yosef Golowa, MD / Richard Shoenfeld, MD
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM PICC Lines, Advanced Training
PICC placement using new technology allows for accurate placement without the need for x-ray documentation. Various devices will be described and available for hands-on evaluation. Also, new ultrasound technology will be demonstrated that assists in access of difficult veins.
Moderator(s): Yosef Golowa, MD / Ziv J. Haskal, MD, FACR, FAHA, FSIR / Richard Shoenfeld, MD
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM Venous Disease
Deep venous thrombosis, thrombolytic techniques and devices, and venous stents will be discussed in didactic, case presentation and hands-on approach.
Moderator(s): Jafar Golzarian, MD / Yosef Golowa, MD
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Fibroids
Indications, contraindications, complications, tools and embolic agents will be discussed in scientific and case based presentations.
Moderator(s): Robert I. White, Jr., MD / Jeffrey S. Pollak, MD / Robert J. Rosen, MD / Lindsay Machan, MD
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Pulmonary AVMs, Peripheral AVMs, Varicoceles
Some of the most difficult lesions we treat are in this category of disease. The experts discuss their approach to these lesions, how treatment can be simplified and how complications can be avoided.
Moderator(s): Ziv J. Haskal, MD, FACR, FAHA, FSIR / Plinio Rossi, MD / Paul J. Gaglio, MD / Ernest J. Ring, MD
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM TIPS/BRTO
When does one perform a BRTO procedure as opposed to a TIPS? What pre-procedure information is needed to assure a successful procedure? Is early TIPS justified in patients with ascites?
